Credence Pool, Inc. was founded by Mike Lake who is originally from Indiana. Mike moved to Wilmington, NC in 2009. Mike began working at a small business in Wilmington called Jeff’s Pool Service. He quickly built a wealth of knowledge relating to the pool industry and began building a very high rapport with his loyal clients. Mike served Jeff’s Pool Service for five years, two as service manager in which he led a team of technicians as well as strategic vision of the company.

 

After five years of employment at Jeff’s Pool Service, Mike accepted another position, upon relocation, with Classic Pool and Patio, a pool service company based out of Indianapolis, IN. Mike served with their team for two years before relocating to Surfside Beach, SC to pursue a business venture with his new startup company called Credence Pool, Inc.

Mike has served as a missionary on two separate terms which amounted to a total of seven months in Costa Rica. Serving as a mentor for impoverished youth as well as working with teams to educate adults, furthering their job skills. Mike thrived in this atmosphere of great challenge. This is where the dream of starting Credence Pool began. Mike loves assisting those who are underprivileged, so he had a vision of starting his own business in order to better alleviate poverty in the world. Mike also served for eighteen months as a mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana. He has a great passion for working with those who are underprivileged. We at Credence always vow to stay deeply involved in the community, both locally and abroad.
